Circumnavigate Vancouver Island aboard 88 foot staysail schooner. Be one of 12 trainees and set sail on one of the finest charter boats in the West Coast sailing fleet. 1 week to 23 day legs.

Departing for extended offshore cruise end of September for Mexico, Nicuaragua, Costa Rica and Panama with space for 12 trainees on
3 week legs:

Vancouver - San Diego. San Diego - Mexico.
Mexico - Costa Rica.

 

Presently operating around the Queen Charlotte Islands and the Inside Passage to Alaska during the summer months, Copper Sky winters in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico!

Copper Sky has over 70,000 miles under her keel since she began her successful chartering career, and she has never lost a day due to a mechanical problem. With her reliable Isuzu diesel she cruises at 8 1/2 knots, and under sail, can attain speeds of 10 knots. Under power she has a range of 1,200 miles.

At 58 tons she carries 32,000lb of lead in her full keel, 1,000 gallons of fuel and 1,200 gallons of water. For the tropics, one of two 5kw generators handles air conditioning.
